Top 5 Ways to Transform Holiday Dishes into Healthy Options

If you are looking to add some extra protein to your holiday meal, LonoLife has you covered. Our product can be used in many different ways than just drinking it. Below are 5 additional ways to add some extra protein to your meal, so even if you (or others) don’t eat some turkey there will still be a good dose of protein.

  • Stuffing

Most stuffings are made with either water or broth. Opt in for some bone broth instead of regular broth. Mix one packet with one cup of warm water for one cup of bone broth. Add more as the recipe directs. If you just add water to your stuffing, then sprinkle a packet of LonoLife on top of your stuffing before completing.

    Vegetables

If you are having roasted veggies this holiday dinner, think about sprinkling or tossing LonoLife on top. Any of our packets will  work, but the Thai Curry may give the veggies an unexpected, extra flavorful taste. Follow directions to roast your veggies as normal and add in one packet of any LonoLife flavor you wish to the oil mixture.

    Gravy

Gravy is a staple for any holiday meal. It goes great with mashed potatoes, on turkey, stuffing and pretty much anything else. If you want to add some extra flavor and the benefits of our bone broth to your gravy or even make some extra gravy to have on hand, you can make your own with our recipe here. If you just want to add some more flavor, mix one of our packets with the broth you are already using and make gravy according to directions.

    Green Bean Casserole

Green bean casserole is a staple for many holiday dinners. If you are trying to add some extra protein into this dish, mix a packet of LonoLife Chicken Bone Broth with the cream of mushroom and milk mixture. Continue to make the dish as the recipe states and your done!

    Coffee

Now this may not be something that is always at dinner, but many people like a cup of coffee after their Holiday meal. If this includes you or anyone in your family then our LonoLife Protein Coffee is perfect to serve. Whether you are using our packets or kcups, it’s a perfect way to finish out your meal.

Happy holidays from the LonoLife team!
