Kitchari with Bone Broth
One pot traditional Indian dish spruced up with bone broth. A staple to Ayurvedic cooking, it’s tridoshic (good for all doshas), high in protein and easily digestible. Not to mention delicious!
Servings: 4 Prep Time: 15 minutes Total time: 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 cups LonoLife Chicken Bone Broth
- 1 cup rice
- ½ cup yellow lentils (moong dal)
- ¼ cup peas
- 1 ½ teaspoon ghee (clarified butter)
- 4 teaspoons cumin
- 2 ½ teaspoons turmeric
- 2 teaspoons ginger
- Half a lemon
- Sea salt & pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
• Add to pressure cooker
• Pressure cook for 25 minutes
